Based out of North West Sydney, the business maintains a steady headcount of 20 within their close-knit and social, dynamic team. They are run by a well-known, highly respected Managing Director who over the years has earned many loyal and satisfied clients, resulting in profitable, solid business.
As mentioned, this is a business who offer their clients a full turnkey operation which consists of Town Planning, Project Management, Civil Engineering and Surveying. From a development perspective, they are specialists in resource projects, residential subdivisions and industrial developments, agricultural operations and infrastructure-related projects and civil engineering.
⭐️ The Role:
Due to an influx of new projects, they are now looking for a full-time Town Planner. In this position, you will work closely with the company’s clients to assess and advise on their development plans and ideas, ensuring the Planning Scheme is adhered to. Further to this, your role will be largely focused on the strategy, preparation & submission of a variety of development applications to the relevant state or local government body.
As part of your role, you will be working across a multitude of development projects, with the majority being in land subdivisions, working in conjunction with the engineering division. You will be required to have a solid understanding and experience with Growth Centre SEPP (State Environment Planning Policy), Greenfield Subdivision and Statuary Planning.
You will be working internally in the Sydney office alongside 4 others within the Town Planning team.
⭐️ The Candidate:
You will possess a minimum of 3 years’ experience, having gained a comprehensive understanding of state and local government regulations. Essentially, you will have a varied background in Town Planning, with experience in Land Subdivisions.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Town Planner.
- Excellent understanding and experience of Growth Centre SEPP (State Environment Planning Policy), Greenfield Subdivisions and Statuary Planning.
- Tertiary qualification - Diploma or TAFE qualified.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with the team, managers and clients.
