➡️ The Role
From an increasingly encouraging 2020/2021, the company is looking to expand and is seeking a Superintendent’s Representative (Civil). Reporting to the Superintendent, your role will be to perform as the principal’s agent in the completion of subdivision and civil infrastructure projects in and around metro Sydney.
  
This year has delivered several projects wins for the business and together with increased confidence, this consultancy is projecting respectable growth within their civil construction and project management teams.
  
Reporting to the Superintendent, your role will be to provide to perform as the Principal’s agent in communicating instructions to contractors, carry out site inspections, prepare pre-tender cost estimates, undertake reporting duties, and liaise with stakeholders and clients.
  

➡️ The Candidate
You will need to possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a project engineering capacity, having gained a quality understanding of the construction techniques and processes associated with road, bulk earthworks, intersection, pipe drainage, and trunk drainage, and other civil infrastructure works.
Essentially, your experience will have been obtained in the construction of land subdivision developments, urban/council developments, and other associated infrastructure works.
  
Having excellent technical skills and experience in coordinating construction works on site is important, although, possessing good communication skills is also equally crucial. Essentially, you will be able to manage client expectations whilst coordinating with the contractor.
  
Requirements:
  • Civil Engineering Degree or suitable Diploma Level qualification with a minimum of 2 years experience.

This multidisciplinary provide both their private and government clients with a variety of services that includes civil engineering design, project management, contract administration, stormwater & environment, and road & traffic infrastructure.
  
They have approximately 75 highly skilled engineering staff that work for them across their group and many of their employees are joint owners of the company. Being employee-owned they benefit from having a top-down hands-on approach, meaning directors and senior managers are intrinsically involved in the projects as much as you will be.
