Job Description
Due to an influx in projects my client is looking for a Construction Site Manager to join the team, working on the Northern Beaches through to the Northwest Sydney Regions.
The right candidate will ideally have a track record in constructing custom homes on challenging sloping sites and experience with another top tier residential builder.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Manage all aspects of new home construction projects
- Ensuring that homes are built in accordance with contractual arrangements and approved drawings
- Maintain computerised diary/job management system
- Develop and maintain exceptional customer relationships
- Scheduling and coordinating subcontractor and supplier availability
- Adhering to deadlines
- Responsible for WHS adherence on site
The successful candidate will have:
- Completion of relevant tertiary education e.g. Building/Construction Diploma or of trade/building background with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential construction, including history working on custom home designs
- Knowledge of project management systems
- Ability to manage resources and subcontractors and suppliers, negotiate and problem solve with ease
- Highly organised, have strong attention to detail and can prioritise accordingly
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Current supervisor/builders license
- General induction card
- Drivers’ license
