As a Senior Civil Engineer, your primary role will be to lead the civil engineering team throughout all components and elements relating to project delivery.
As an experienced, hands-on, technical engineer, you will lead from the front, rolling up your sleeves and managing the delivery of projects both from a managerial and a design perspective.
A significant portion of your role will be designing. As a chartered engineer, you will also manage the quality of the work within your team. Another important and crucial aspect of your role will be to attend client and stakeholder meetings and to effectively and articulately communicate complex design solutions in such a way that are straight-forward and unproblematic.
Due to the nature of this position, an engineer with good, all-round ability and the experience of working in the Melbourne market would be perfect for the role. A thorough technical mindset together with the people-orientated personality would be an ideal fit. Having CPEng/ NER is a prerequisite for this position.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in land/urban development, subdivision or commercial civil projects, ideally spent working in Victoria.
- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Professional Engineer – CPEng, NER
- Excellent communication – both written and verbal.
