Your role as Clinical Lead will be to oversee and lead the needs of aged persons and people with a disability in the community from a clinical perspective in order to provide a holistic approach for all clients to help them live their best lives as well as to support the staff and the organisation to become better every day.
You will be using your passion for helping people to ensure that the right clinical systems are in place for individuals.
You will be using your clinical (Registered Nurse) experience to manage the clinical governance and to be a key advisor to the leadership team. Your strong clinical knowledge will be put in practice to provide continuous improvement for the quality of care plans, investigate clinical incidents, carry out auditing and reporting and you will be working closely with the compliance & risk manager to implement quality management processes & systems in line with clinical governance and clinical funding requirements in order to provide the best clinical support.
You will also be using your love for leading a team to directly manage 2 clinical staff (Clinical Educator and part time RN), as well as to indirectly manage support workers and case managers to ensure appropriate clinical decisions and action is happening.
You will have the freedom of working from the office, at home and when needed, supporting front line workers with clinical guidance from a governance & lead perspective.
Your ability to connect with people from different backgrounds and with different needs will be using your open and caring communication style.
