➡️ The Role
From an increasingly encouraging 2020/2021, the company are looking to expand and are seeking a Civil Superintendent who can provide a high level of technical expertise and knowledge to the projects. This year has delivered a number of project wins for the business and together with increased confidence, this consultancy are projecting respectable growth within their civil construction and project management teams.
Your role will be to provide technical leadership to the team, superintending Works Under Contract (WUC), typically in accordance with AS4000 or AS2124 Construction Contracts (or any client alternative Contract), across a number of land development and/or civil infrastructure projects.
Also, as part of your role, you may be arranging and chairing site meetings as well as coordinating with the design team to resolve RFI’s, interface with council and other key stakeholders involved in the projects and ensure that any client issues, needs, disputes are swiftly communicated to senior construction and project leads.
➡️ The Candidate
You will need to possess a minimum of 7 years’ experience in this type or a similar role, having gained a comprehensive understanding of the construction techniques and processes associated with road, bulk earthworks, intersection, pipe drainage, and trunk drainage, and other civil infrastructure works.
Essentially, your experience will have been obtained in the drawing and documentation production of road and drainage packages relating to land subdivision developments, however, urban/council development experience is also welcomed.
- Experience as a contract administrator on civil infrastructure projects.
- Civil Engineering Degree or suitable Diploma Level qualification with a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
