They are considered leaders in their field of high-end residential and commercial design projects and provide specialist services across civil, hydraulic, structural and remedial engineering. They also have the capacity and capability to complete designs in some institutional-type developments too. The business has a strong rate of tenure and have built a team of over 50 engineering professionals in Sydney and Melbourne and are planning an expansion into Queensland later this year too.
As a result of their continued success, they are excited to be further growing their engineering team and are seeking the skillset of an intermediate-level Civil Engineer. Your role will be a design orientated role providing hands-on technical work, inspections and preparation of technical documentation and reports
Located on the North Shore and right next to a train station, you’ll be joining a team of 6 engineering design and drafting staff. Your role will be a hands-on technical position. This will largely include design, analysis and calculations of civil, stormwater and hydraulic designs for residential and commercial projects.
Additionally, coordination and interfacing between internal teams and external stakeholders may also form part of your role.
As an experienced civil engineer in the design of civil – roads, water, wastewater, stormwater and earthworks across building developments you will possess the skills and experience to slot in and for the most part hit the ground running.
A technically minded, passionate and professional engineer having had the experience in the above areas would be perfect. Excellent communication skills also forms an integral part of the required experience – both written and verbal.
- 4+ years of experience working within Australia on civil engineering projects
- Tertiary qualification in Hydraulic or Civil Engineering/Stormwater projects.
- Ability to use modelling and CAD software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
- An ability to work autonomously and use own initiative.
