Located on the Northside of Brisbane, right next to a major train station, you will be joining a team of 8 engineering design, and drafting staff (circa 20 in total) in a socially engaged, relaxed and easy-going design office.
The business has just put in a record-breaking month and as a result, have now got a solid pipeline of work for the next 6 months at least. As a result of their success, they are excited to be further growing their engineering team and are seeking the skillset of an intermediate-level Civil Engineer.
Your role will be design orientated, managing projects under the direction of a senior engineer, also visiting the site and conducting inspections then following up with detailed report writing and stormwater engineering reports. Additionally, coordination and interfacing between internal teams and external stakeholders may also form part of your role.
As an experienced civil engineer in the design of civil – roads, water, wastewater, stormwater and earthworks across building developments you will possess the skills and experience to slot in and for the most part hit the ground running.
A technically minded, passionate and professional engineer having had the experience in the above areas would be perfect. Excellent communication skills also form an integral part of the required experience – both written and verbal.
- 3-5 years of experience having worked ideally on civil projects in Queensland.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Ability to use modelling – Civil 3D and CAD software, although not essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and orally.
- An ability to work autonomously and use own initiative.
