➡️ The Role
As an experienced mid-level or Senior Civil Engineer of the civil design team, your primary role will be autonomously working in a technical design position, managing your own workload, and depending on if you have your professional chartered qualification conducting design reviews and signing off on work. The role will encompass some level of project management and may include other more senior responsibilities (again seniority dependant).
A significant portion of your role will be managing the designs and quality of work within the civil engineering design and drafting teams. Another important and crucial aspect of your role will be to attend client meetings and to effectively and articulately communicate complex design solutions in such a way that are straight-forward and unproblematic.
➡️ The Candidate
Due to the nature of this position, an engineer with good, all-round ability and the experience of working in the Brisbane market would be perfect for the role. A thorough technical mindset together with the people-orientated personality would be an ideal fit. Having an RPEQ is desirable for this position, however, is not essential.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in land/urban development, subdivision, or commercial civil projects, ideally spent working in Queensland.
- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Chartered Professional Engineer – RPEQ
- Excellent communication – both written and verbal.
