Due to a long-term employee moving on, the business is seeking the replacement of this person - a Civil Designer.
Your role will be largely technically orientated, operating 12D and modelling various local government infrastructure packages. You will be working closely with engineers and drafters, potentially mentoring and overseeing the workload of the junior draftspeople. Depending on how senior you are and/or of the responsibility you’re willing to take on, there may be other project management associated tasks, however, for the most part, your role is very much hands-on design.
⭐️ The Candidate
You will possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience, having gained a comprehensive understanding of 12D. Essentially, your experience will have been obtained in the drawing and documentation production of road and drainage packages relating to urban or land development projects including commercial civil projects in Australia, or even better in New South Wales.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience specifically relating to civil design using 12D.
- Tertiary qualification - Diploma or TAFE qualified.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with the team, managers and possibly clients.
