The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the safeguarding of issues within Behaviour Support Therapy, supporting Practitioners & Managers and will be applying your experience to deliver evidence-based quality services and continuous improvement to assist in the implementation of positive behaviour support and the ongoing to delivery of outcomes in compliance with NDIS and accreditation standards.


Responsibilities include:
  • Provision of positive behaviour support expertise within the Quality and Practice team to develop & implement policies & improvement processes, in line with NDIS & accreditation standards
  • Execution & implementation of strategies to ensure safeguarding including guidance with regards to code of conduct issues
  • Implementation & management of the Quality Management System
  • Research and continuous updates & compliance with NDIS
  • Reporting

About You

You thrive in a role with variety and are passionate about working with a person-centered approach.
  • Experience as a practicing Psychologist within Disability
  • In depth & up to date understanding of Positive Behaviour Support practices
  • In depth knowledge & understanding of legislative requirements such as NDIS & quality & safeguards framework
  • Strong knowledge of disability & aged care
  • Extensive NDIS experience 
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent problem solving
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology
  • APRAH registration
